1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShikkhaGuru ("we", "our", "the Platform") at shikkhaguru.com or our mobile applications, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") in full. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, subscribers, and any other person who interacts with the Platform in any capacity.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts that provide false information.
• Residents of countries subject to trade sanctions may be restricted from certain paid features.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@shikkhaguru.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3.2 One account per person

Each person may maintain only one registered account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits, free-trial periods, or any other restriction is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

3.3 Account sharing

Your account is personal and non-transferable. Sharing login credentials with others — whether for free or for payment — is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination without refund.

4. Subscriptions & Access

4.1 Free access

Certain content (free exams, sample questions, public routine) is available without a subscription. We may change the scope of free content at any time.

4.2 Paid subscriptions

Paid plans (Membership, Category, individual Exam purchases) grant access to premium content for the duration stated at checkout. Access expires automatically at the end of the subscription period unless renewed.

4.3 Subscription limits

One subscription may be used by one person on one or more personal devices. Institutional or classroom use requires a separate licence — contact us at support@shikkhaguru.com.

4.4 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions do not auto-renew on our platform. You will receive reminder notifications before expiry and must manually renew to maintain access.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

All exam questions, explanations, videos, course materials, articles, and design elements on the Platform are the exclusive property of ShikkhaGuru or our licensed content partners. They are protected under Bangladeshi copyright law and international treaties.

You may not:

• Reproduce, republish, or distribute our questions or explanations — in whole or in part — on any other platform, website, printed material, or social media channel.
• Use automated means (scraping, bots, crawlers) to extract content.
• Claim authorship of our content.
• Create derivative works without express written permission.

Personal, non-commercial note-taking for your own study is permitted.

6. User Conduct

When using the Platform — including study groups, leaderboards, and any community features — you agree not to:

• Post or transmit spam, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory content.
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other students or staff.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, our servers, or any connected systems.
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose under Bangladeshi law.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any destructive code.
• Manipulate exam scores, leaderboard rankings, or review systems.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, legal action, or both.

7. Payments & Billing

All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We accept bKash and other digital payment gateways available at checkout.

By completing a payment, you authorise us to charge the stated amount via your chosen payment method. All transactions are processed by third-party payment gateways subject to their own terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your access to all premium content will cease immediately.
• We are not obligated to refund any remaining subscription period (except where required by applicable law or our Refund Policy).
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind — express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• That the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• That results achieved using our Platform will match results in actual examinations.
• That all content is free of inaccuracies (though we strive for the highest accuracy and correct errors promptly).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Bangladeshi law, ShikkhaGuru and its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
